Bachelorettes, when you are visiting Nashville you must make it a point to stop in the trendy Gulch neighborhood. The Gulch is full of great restaurants, rooftop bars, fancy hotels, and fabulous boutiques. The whole neighborhood just gives off a very chic vibe.
You can start your day off by grabbing breakfast at one of Nashville’s most popular breakfast spots, Biscuit Love. After breakfast, be sure to stop at the popular Instagram destination, the “What Lifts You Mural”, better known as “The Wings” Mural by @KelseyMontagueArt to snap a photo for Instagram with your girls. Then mosey on into some of the best boutiques in the city.
The most popular and unique boutiques in The Gulch are Blush Boutique, Kittenish, and SVM Boutique (see my article, Want something Unique? Check Out These Boutiques, for more information). You will be able to find amazing outfits for you and your gal pals to wear out on the town all weekend long. Then, give your feet a break and/or beat the heat with a “Froze” or “Tropic Like It’s Hot” at the L.A. Jackson rooftop bar located at the top of the beautiful, Thompson Hotel.
That’s not all The Gulch has to offer though. There are a whole slew of restaurants from delicious Mexican (Saint Anejo), to Italian (Moto), to Sushi (Sunda or Virago), to fine dining (Kayne Prime) and everything in between, this neighborhood has you covered. They have a plethora of retail stores too, including, Urban Outfitters, The Frye Company, Lucchese Bootmaker, and Loft just to name a few. And, the Thompson Nashville (Hotel) with its gorgeous, upscale décor is a great place to stay and is just steps away from all of the hot spots in The Gulch, walkable to midtown and a short Uber or Lyft to Broadway downtown.
Pro Bach Tip:
You can most likely find Airbnb’s in this area too. A lot of the condos and apartment buildings have listings on Airbnb. Also, if you plan to go to this Biscuit Love location then plan to go early (like 7am) or plan to wait in line for a while. If you are in town prior to the weekend, I would try to go to Biscuit Love on a weekday to avoid the line. I highly recommend the Bonuts!
