Downtown Late Night Bites

After a long night of drinking, we all become hungry little Baches…so here is your guide on where to go before you head to bed.  Let’s be real, we all know that after midnight the calories don’t count so go get you some food and your inner Bach will thank you!

Sun Diner is a true diner with an old school vibe. From the moment you step inside you will be impressed with all of the pictures and memorabilia from Sun Records Artists that adorn the walls. You can smell the food cooking as soon as you open the door. You can see the chefs working their magic on the grills as you sit on your bar stools with your mouth watering just waiting to get your delicious food. The best part is that they serve breakfast ALL DAY! My personal favorite is the breakfast wrap! I do also want to mention I have eaten there sober too for those of you wondering and it is still amazing!

They are open 24 hours y’all so don’t cut your night short just to eat because they will be there waiting for you! Keep in mind that you will leave smelling like the diner. They are located just off Broadway on 3rd Avenue across from FGL House and next to the Johnny Cash Museum.

Keep the party going at The Diner. This is another 24/7 spot and they only stop serving alcohol for one hour! This is a massive six-story building that has many unique options from Oysters to American Pub food. There are some pretty awesome lookout spots too.

Don’t forget you can stay up drinking at this late-night spot! Remember, there are six floors, so the wait shouldn’t be long. If the first floor is busy just keep going up! It is located on 3^rd Avenue South at the cross street of Demonbreun, just across from The Southern.

If you don’t want to leave Broadway and you just want a quick snack, then go see my friends over at Mellow Mushroom (on Broadway)! All of their food is great but late-night they keep it simple with pizza by the slice. They serve Pepperoni and plain Cheese slices. It is quick, easy and pretty darn delicious if you ask me!  If you make it there early enough to order off the full menu I highly recommend the Spinach Artichoke Dip. I think it is BEST out of all of the ones I have ever had!

They are only open until 2:30am. The slices are pretty large, so I would start with just one unless you want to carry it back with you! Although, I have eaten two so no judgment here. Say hi to my bartender friends, Nef and Jesse, for me!
