Okay Baches, it’s a Monday night in Nashville. You and your bachelorette party are probably thinking Monday nights are lame and low key. Normally this would be the case anywhere else in the country, except this is Music City. Monday nights means party time in Nashville. There are two parties you and your baches must check out on a Monday. But which party is the real question?
The first is called Whiskey Jam. Whiskey Jam is Nashville’s who’s who of up and coming singers and songwriters. What began as an underground gathering of friends sharing songs quickly became one of Nashville’s mainstays of local music. Whiskey Jam is THE hot spot to hear great artists before they become giants. Located in Midtown in Winners Bar & Grill, you will get to mix and mingle with all Nashville locals, aspiring artists and if you’re lucky a few big named artists will pop in to sing a song of three.
Next is Motown Mondays at The 5 Spot, named “Most Stylish Party in America” by GQ Magazine. This is Nashville’s most infamous ongoing dance party. Playing all the Motown dance hits, creator and local Nashvillian, Jacob Jones, has created a unique Nashville party that appeals to the young and young at heart. Located in East Nashville, you will get to hang out with locals and see some of the most entertaining dancing in your life. When we say it’s a party, it’s a party!
But which party should you choose? Nashville’s hottest singer & songwriter party or Nashville’s best dance party?
Well, we have great news! You can do both! Whiskey Jam usually starts around 8pm and goes to 10 (or 11 depending on how long you drink). Motown Mondays typically get going around 11pm and can go into the wee hours of the morning. So there you go, Baches! If you find yourself in Nashville on a Monday night, looking for something to do, you now have two incredibly authentic parties to choose from for you and your Nashville bachelorette party.
Pro Bach Tip:
There is a $5 cover but the music, dancing, and the vibe is something you and your girls will talk about for weeks. Leave the Sash and matching t-shirts at home for this one. We recommend throwing on your best pair of jeans, comfortable shoes and talking to everyone you meet. These parties are as Nashville as they come! Cheers!
