Off the beaten path, you will discover the cute little neighborhood of 12th South. Odds are if you have heard of it, it is because the popular instagrammable spot, the “I believe in Nashville” mural is located here next to Edley’s BBQ.
This neighborhood is walking-friendly with lots to do. This is a day time, Bachelorette friendly, neighborhood to add to your itinerary. There are shops, restaurants, boutiques, and bars all throughout the neighborhood for you and the girls to have fun all day long.
There are a ton of cute boutiques up and down the street. One of the more notable shops is Reese Witherspoon’s, Draper James. You also have Moda, Serendipity, Hero Boutique, Imogene + Willie, Emerson Grace, FWD Clothing and my more. Plus, my personal favorite, Vinnie Louise. You can find household knick-knacks, last-minute gifts, trendy clothing, and accessories and all of these fashion-forward boutiques.
Two of the most popularly affordable, stylish and delicious spots to eat are Bar Taco (personal favorite) and Urban Grub. Two of the more casual places to grab your grub are Edley’s BBQ and 12th South Taproom and Grill. One of the best bakeries around town is also located in this neighbor, Five Daughters Bakery (see my article, Nashville’s Most Deliciously Instagrammable Dessert Destinations, for more information).
Pro Bach Tip:
Bar Taco will most likely have a wait (up to an hour) during peak hours on the weekend so make sure you allow enough time. However, there is lots of nearby shopping to keep you busy while you wait.
