Have you ever seen a Drag Show or Burlesque Show? Whether you have or haven’t, Nashville has two really great options happening every weekend and at least one should make it on your Bachelorette Party itinerary!
Suzy Wong’s House of Yum is an experience you do not want to miss. It is one of the most fun times you will have at a restaurant. Take your Bachelorette Party for the Drag’n Brunch or the Drag’n Dinner but either way you can’t go wrong. These Queens dress up like all of the true Divas! The food is great too. They serve southern favorites with an Asian flare created by former Top Chef Contestant and Food Network Star Contestant (Season 11), Arnold Myint.
Pro Bach Tip:
You will need to make reservations in advance. The punch bowls are tasty and they are large enough for 2-3 people to share. Do not be late because they perform every 30 minutes and they won’t seat you during a performance.
You and your Bachelorette crew can catch a Burlesque show at Skull’s Rainbow Room in Printers Alley. This nostalgic spot has been around since 1948 and the stage has been graced by many notable legends including some of my favorites like Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and Paul McCartney. They offer Burlesque shows every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night!
Pro Bach Tip:
Besides the entertainment, they are very well known for their dinner menu and craft cocktails. It is best if you make a late-night dinner reservation, so you can avoid paying the $20 cover charge for the show. Book in advance because the locals love the shows too!
Location:
222 Printers Alley, Nashville, TN
Lastly, follow Glitz Presents on Facebook to keep up on the pop-up Drag shows. They have done shows in some unexpected places, like Pearl Diver and Old Glory, so keep an eye out for the events leading up to your Bachelorette Weekend!
